Black Dog by charliebakerComment by macrothing: 9 - Ohh.. this suits the song well... Well done. Nice image, really like the feel. Shame (maybe) he/she can't be a little further in frame - but likely change the whole dynamics. |

Black Dog by charliebakerComment by jdannels: I like the square crop and the disregard of the rule of thirds to make an effective composition. The fog adds to the mystique. |

Black Dog by charliebakerComment by Rissa: This is the best of the "Black Dog" photos, it's not too cheesy and it has a dark feel to it. This dog reminds me of "The Grim" in Harry Potter... :) |

Black Dog by charliebakerComment by glad2badad: I like this scene. It has a hurry-up, let's get out of this weather feel to it. The background fog and water motion blur are very nice. The dog has an issue or two...one could be seen as negative or positive, depending...that's having him/her looking out of the frame. Adds tension, like what's out there that's grabbing the dog's attention? On the potential negative side it (the dogs gaze) directs the view immediately out of the frame, rather than across. Also seeing some sharpening artifacts, particularly the back leg and far right side area.
All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

Black Dog by charliebakerComment by Melethia: This works pretty well with the lyrics, I think, which have nothing to do with a black dog, but apparently with depression. Seems the song was titled after a black dog that wandered through/by the studio when they were recording. |
