What a great find, perfect for this challenge. I might like to see a closer shot of this umbrella - but I also enjoy the background elements of the faded wood and peeling paint as well but I find the grasses or whatever that is in the top right a little distracting to the lines that you've otherwise developed in the composition.

How cute! Definitely a high placer...only criticism: a little more DOF would have been appropriate (just a drop)...also the verticals on the wood could have been alligned better either with a shift lens or with a slight tilt of the camera.

Wonderful feeling! Perfect exposure and great catchlight in the closer dog's eyes. The only problem I see with it is that the rear dog should be kess sharp - or not there at all. The merger of the closer dog's head with the same colors in the rear dog detract just a bit, Having said that - it's still VERY high in this challenge.

I agree though, very nice shot, great DOF, good seeing the other dog in the background, it's as if it's wanting to look too but the other one is getting in the way.
