It is my second highest voting and my highest percentage so far.
This photo is one of the few I have submitted that went higher than I expected. But that's nice with this one since I like it a lot now.

The only bad thing is that it was above my "3" challenge entry which I think is much better. And I still dont't understand the low score for my faceless entry.

About comments then I don't understand what ergates means by saying "it would have been better with a more careful composition" since it is the composition what I like in the photo. That's the reason his/her comment wasn't considered helpful.

And about that traffic sing. It is actually there and at the vanishing point on the left side of the road you can see a farm and there is another one on the right side and children can be on the road while playing or visiting each other.

And it is not completely somewhere in the middle of nowhere since it is almost inside Reykjavik if it isn't inside the boundaries of the capital.

I like the tilted horizon and the vanishing point 8even though it's not perfect). The colours are okay, but not that apppealing. Better than b&w nonetheless.

nice colors and atmosphere. the slanted framing is very dynamic, but it might have been better framed as an utterly still scene, horizontally. nevertheless better than the lot

I have to tell you that the atmosphere of this picture is very profound. There is so much to it really... The lonely man in motion, the scale of the statues with respect to the wall behind and the two observers with the light behind them. This is such a terrific shot with excellent composition.
