These can be done in so many ways, this is one that I never explored (looks like a duplicated layer heavily blurred, and laid over at about 60% with either a soft light or overlay transfer mode). The composition is very inviting and I just love the contrast between the two leaves - yum! A spectacular piece, simple yet engaging! -- 10 --

I don't usually care much about softness in an image, but this seems just too close to being almost sharp to be bothersome. I feel like I need to clean my eyeballs a bit and it'll just pop into focus.
