love the blur of wings and like a little hand from his wing on his body .. cant work out how that happens .. like did the wings move backwards and forwards more than once during the shot and the 'hard' bit shows up more ??.
i sound like such an ignoramus ... but i cant express my question any better right now ..
to take a shot like this must take not only great patience, but huge amounts of skill too .. if this doesnt come on the first page i'll be very surprised .. :)

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus.
