texture is good, as is the lighting. I think the shadow being cropped is hurting you a little bit, as is not being able to tell what the person is doing. The pose is menacing, but there's not enough information visible to see what those intentions are.

I can appreciate this concept- but it feels forced. IS the kid enjoying this moment? As a viewer- I want to emotionally connect with the 'joy' one would experience in this position, but instead I note how he's biting his tongue and eyeing the bottle- no wish to indulge in the golden nectar. Also, where is the bee connection?
