Not sure about the light across his forehead, and the background being cluttered draws away from the main subject.

Excellent crisp detail on his face. Not too sure about the band of light on the forehead - it's a little distracting. I saw that before I noticed the very well shot "scruffy" beard.

This is a nice shot. Great model and cool bokeh. The shadows on his face are unfortunate and might be costing you significantly IMO. A little more crop on the right might be more pleasing as well.
