| Thanks for all the comments. Yes, I agree, I should have cropped it differently, so that the light band wasn't showing, and somehow different with the ear. The morning sun was shining through the kitchen blinds, and other shots made that more obvious. When I submitted this, I forgot it looked odd to viewers who didn't have that context...or it just looks odd, anyway... |

| I don't like the band of light on your forehead but the rest of the pic is nice. I like the clarity on the face and the pose makes this a warm and engaging photo. |

| Not sure about the light across his forehead, and the background being cluttered draws away from the main subject. |

| Excellent crisp detail on his face. Not too sure about the band of light on the forehead - it's a little distracting. I saw that before I noticed the very well shot "scruffy" beard. |

| This is a nice shot. Great model and cool bokeh. The shadows on his face are unfortunate and might be costing you significantly IMO. A little more crop on the right might be more pleasing as well. |
