Mt Williamson Building Stormby rgrenaderphotoComment by rgrenaderphoto: In 1943-44, Ansel Adams spent time at the Manzanar Relocation Camp in Lone Pine, Ca. Because he was friends with Manzanar camp Director Ralph Merritt, Adams was invited to document the internees and life at camp. One of his iconic photographs, Mt Williamson - Clearing Storm was taken at the exact spot shown within the circular error probability of my handheld GPS. This was, for me, a bucket list photograph, standing in the footsteps of Giants, here is Mt Williamson - Building Storm. |

Shapes-1by rgrenaderphotoComment by oldbimmercoupe: I gave it a 10 - sadly abstracts and geometrics are totally lost on this crowd. this is the land of stock and commercial photogs. let me know if there is a similar group online with more open minds. keep at it. gl.

Shapes-1by rgrenaderphotoComment by MaryO: I'd prefer a smooth background, I think, and softer lighting. Not sure about the composition but I have no idea what's the most interesting way to arrange such objects. |
