Nice catch except there's not much to really look at in terms of a subject, and I suspect some wierd editing around the largest rock or oversharpening or something. 4/10

I wonder if this might look better with most of the water on the bottom cropped off?

Well, thanks for looking at this picture and your comment. Actually these are not birch trees -- they are pine trees -- and the trunks are actually anything but white. The trunks are (as best as I can see them) mostly gray with a hint of blue and brown, so I don't think the color is off that much. The place in the woods where I took this was pretty densely shaded but the sky was a clear blue at the time. The exposure was 2 seconds at f/11. You can get a better look at the trees in this larger version:

In the larger version ,you can also see that one of the ferns in the foreground was jostled by the wind just a bit during the long exposure.

Smile and keep having fun! ;^)

Mark,

Thanks for the idea. Actually I went back and looked at the original file, and what you see here is the whole shot, just as I framed it. It isn't cropped at all. At least I was holding the camera horizontal!
