Comment by Gene L.:
This clearly meets and even exceeds the goal of the challenge! The perspective fools the viewer into thinking seeing something quite abstract and surreal. The lighting also works very well to reinforce this illusion and add dimension. The lines and repetition suggest continuation and perhaps a larger object than what really exists. (10)

Cool shot. I just wish it had been rotated a bit more towards the right.

Interesting perspective. I think I would've liked it more if maybe it was a little less dark. Good job though.

Thanks everybody for all the great comments. This is indeed homebrew- a brown ale that came out pretty good, if I do say so myself. The glass in front is not homebrew. I didn't know how long it was going to have to sit out and I didn't want to waste one. The differing fill levels kind of bothered me, but I didn't have enough full bottles left to be able to pick and choose.

The strange shadow in the glass is not reflected, its actually a shadow cast on the background by one of my lamps. Didn't notice it at the time the shot was taken.

I kinda liked the highlights- though I guess blowing out highlights IS the cardinal sin in digital photography. I find it interesting that nobody commented that the glass looked dirty (it wasn't, but backlighting can be unkind). That was what bothered me most about the photo.

Thanks again for all the helpful comments.
