Thanks for all the great comments! The photo is the underside of the portico at the ING building in downtown Minneapolis. It was taken at night. The "vertical lines" are the columns holding the roof up (the photo is flipped upside down). The building is not really green, this was a product of the inability of the auto white balance on my camera to deal with the bright lights on the underside of the roof. I decided I liked the green, and even increased it some in post-processing.

Very cool - whatever it is. I like the contrasting solid black background. Bumping up after second look. Good luck in the challenge.

I must admit, I cannot for the life of me figure out what this is! Great lines and contrast, but no clue what I am looking at!

Nice composition balance. Interesting subject, but the overall contrast is somewhat lacking. Not enough dynamic.

Very cool! I would guess that the image is upside down (which I like!) and it makes the pillars almost look like they are being stretched out from the base (top). Great!

I'm so dizzy my head is spinning! Nice clean image with lots of good perspective. Good Job!

This clearly meets and even exceeds the goal of the challenge! The perspective fools the viewer into thinking seeing something quite abstract and surreal. The lighting also works very well to reinforce this illusion and add dimension. The lines and repetition suggest continuation and perhaps a larger object than what really exists. (10)

Cool shot. I just wish it had been rotated a bit more towards the right.

Cool. I'd like to see the outtakes of this. Nice job.

Interesting perspective. I think I would've liked it more if maybe it was a little less dark. Good job though.

Cool placement. It looks fake though.
