Sleeping Siamese in Sinkby bobdaveantComment by dee37: This photo made me laugh. My cat also likes to sleep in the sink, funny I thought he was the only cat that did that..lol
Bathroom lighting is not always the best but you did great on this one! I love it! |

Reaching for a dreamby bobdaveantComment by Gaia: I'm sure that you are disappointed with the placement in this challenge. It's not often that I give a 10 for 148th place. lol.
I'd like to see what this shot would look like redone, although I think it's a great shot as is. The bottom is a bit distracting although I understand about wanting to get the base of the statue in the shot. I also like the shadows and light on the statue. The long flare does distract from the subject. Even though I'd already commented on this pic, I had to write again! Keep up the good work. Message edited by author 2004-05-05 10:08:48. |

Reaching for a dreamby bobdaveantComment by cghubbell: The proportion aspect is very cool in this shot. The two subjects seem to be slightly rotated counter-clockwise, and just far enough off-center as to be a little distracting. Very creative composition! |

Reaching for a dreamby bobdaveantComment by budokan: I really like this - seem to be some lighting issues though. I don't know how you'd correct without losing the brilliant beam from the top left. 6 |

Jby bobdaveantComment by redmoon: Unfortunatley, this doesn't really scream "abstract" to me, or at least, within the specific parameters defined by the challenge description. There is certainly the material there for suitable manipulation, such as focusing exclusively on the ear-piercing and some slight mucking around with photoshop / paintshoppro. The lighting is also a little harsh and the background seems a little fake (given the halo effect around the hair). That aside, technically i felt it to be a good shot, it's just i feel it would be better suited to an alternative challenge (hopefully not the rusty run if your model stands in the rain too long ;)) |

Jby bobdaveantComment by photom: Not a bad portrait, good lighting and exposure. Selection of black as the background color s great. But... abstract? Don't thik so. |
