OMG! This was one of my favorites of the challenge!! Should have ended up with a 7 score, IMO. The mood you have captured is amazing. It is very high contrast and is an awesome picture!! Self portraits are not the easiest ones to take because you can't see what you are doing. Not only did the picture turn out great but you also rec. a high score and got in the top 20. What else can I say? I worship the ground you walk on. LOL The rain drops on top of the hood is a great touch.

Everything looks perfect except the blown out whites on this very intense portrait. (Also, the title doesn't fit her expression, she looks more bored than desperate.) Still, this has a strong impact.

Correction: I replaced the his wity a her and added an s before the he. Now I appologize... :o)

I wish I could enter this shot for the rule of thirds, taken a couple of months ago.

I really like this shot. Talking it over with my daughter, we decided it might be better with the shirt either all the way open or maybe a little touch of navel? Something to break up the expanse of flesh tone.

Really like the tones given to it and the pose. Nice lighting, although a bit bright in spots - it works with the editing done.

I really like the expression and the lighting in this portrait. I wish the eyes were just a little less soft, but I like the catch light. I think I'd play around with having it cropped at a slightly different angle.

Pretty good considering the 'studio' equipment you have.

This one is really nice. I like the dof and the lighting a lot. I would have liked the pearls laying not quite so flat. One of those headless type necks they display necklaces on would work well here. I agree that the border doesn't help the shot. I don't think it takes much away, but just not needed.
