forgottenby bobdaveantComment by bobdaveant: This is such a sad photo as I revisit it in my portfolio today. This section of park where I took this photo in downtown Cleveland is saturated with homeless people, in fact nobody but the homeless usually are there. The bushes are dead in large clumps from being urinated on as shown in the photo and the smell is very strong, the ground is littered with cigarette butts and there are always large groups of birds arounds, mostly pigeons.
I walk through this area from time to time, there is a bit of reality that makes you appreciate the life you have and wonder what moment in these peoples lives changed their course to bring them to where they are. I feel bad for many of these people as I am sure they have hard lives, others disappoint me because I see potential for so much more. I try not to be judgemental, because it is not my place to do so.
Thanks for reading my thoughts...I'll get off my soap box now.

Michelle's Husbandsby bobdaveantComment by srdanz: Michelle got you to grow beard after the challenge got announced, made you shave twice as well! Very creadive, esp. with the order not being exact.
The head #2 is bigger than the other two, probably on purpose, but the message escapes me. Still I rank this one higher. |

Michelle's Husbandsby bobdaveantComment by Sinky: Very well thought out, and put together. So, was his beard sacrificed in the name of your art, or was he intending to shave it off anyway?
Well done..great shot. |

Michelle's Husbandsby bobdaveantComment by rachelellen: Clever! Was he planning to shave it off anyway, or did you cajole him into it for the sake of the challenge? Good job capturing his expression, especially in the middle frame. |
