Tessby sixmacsComment by David.C: Lighting: Lighting is well balanced, but the lack of a catchlight leaves the right eye looking flat.
Pose: The pose is fine, but the extreme smile has caused some unflattering lines.
Background: Is a bit cluttered, but not overly so. |

Tessby sixmacsComment by TooCool: Another nearly flawless techincal shot. You obviously used natural light which is a nice touch that hardly anyone used. The only complaint I have is the colors seem just a touch dull.

Tessby sixmacsComment by GeneralE: Subject is well-lit and with good detail. I think I'd prefer a less busy or blurrier background so she'd be the sole focus of attention. |

Tessby sixmacsComment by suemack: lovely skin tones and focus on this portrait......to me the details in the background take the focus away from the model |

Tessby sixmacsComment by soccerdad: Background is a little busy, as she needed just a bit more space. Or cropping tightly on her makes this great, as she helped with the perfect expression. |

Tessby sixmacsComment by L1: Good lighting and expression on the model's face. I would have preferred to see it without the lamp and pillow/furniture in the background. Good effort. :o) |

I'll just sit right...here.by sixmacsComment by photom: My first glance and I knew the title was going to be "Bad Hair Day!" Then I looked and you got me... Nice capture and placement. The green band at the top is a nice compositional element. Catchlight in the eye is great. The only suggestion I have is that I'd like a bit more room in front of the beak. |
