The black and white helps convey the stormy feeling this imparts, and the bend of the trees in the distance emphasize the direction of the wind. The water in the foreground has almost a painted look to it which is kinda cool!

The horizon looks level but the lighthouse doesn't...I hate when that happens. I think an average of the two might have helped better (?) or lining up the vertical crop with the lighthouse instead. However, it's a lovely shot and I still think it's good for an 8.

good capture. I think it would help if this were cropped to remove the dark foreground elements - crop to more of a panorama. And the horizon might need a bit of straightening. Nice shot though. It has good feel.

It's difficult to tell if this is well level or not but the way the city starts to dip to the right is a little tough on the eye. The center of most lenses tend to handle the pincussioning and barreling a little better so it the city was more centered with less sky this might help that effect unless it was what you were going for. Good Luck!
