Fort Sill by postoakinversionComment by Brad: Beautiful shot !
I was sure this had been very burned/dodged and was pleasantly surprised to see it hadn't!
Congrats on the Red |

Fort Sill, original (unedited)by postoakinversionComment by Imagineer: Unedited - are you sure?
I can clearly see a graduated mask where it'appears' to be burned. If not then I eat my words, hat, head and everything, because the lighting cast on the ground in this scene looks impossible given the low, ominous gloom of the sky. |

I'm afraid I have to agree with Jon. I voted this shot down as in my mind the ground simply doesn't match the sky. |

Ramshackleby postoakinversionComment by avadon: I think that in this case it would have benefited you more to have a person model in shabby clothes, preferably a child, standing in the doorway. Someone who innocently doesn't know any different between their life and yours. I think the monotone works, but maybe something with higher contrast. Just a thought. |

Fort Sill by postoakinversionComment by avadon: Oh wow! This is gorgeous! No doubt you deserved a ribbon with this!!! It's so ethereal... are you sure you didn't go to Africa or someplace more exotic for this shot? *grin* |

Fort Sill by postoakinversionComment by scrum8: Beautiful shot! I was stationed there for Artillery School in 1980 and you've captured the landscape wonderfully. |
