Blowing in the Windby SammieComment by amandalore: ohp! don't lose it... nice focus on lens and motion blur on cap, maybe the only thing I would say could help this photo is a little less warm colors and just a little more DOF on background. |

Secrets of the Confessionalby SammieComment by outland: As tempting as the back lighted stain glass window is, what I find most interesting here is the way the light from the window falls on the confessional and relfects in the glass of the door. As it is the window seems over exposed and the interior under exposed. |

Secrets of the Confessionalby SammieComment by TrynityRose: The soft lighting really makes this image. There seems to be a lot of different lines that are competing for perspective and so it seems a little distorted but the mood comes over great. |

Anti-War Protest Draws 100's To Taos Plazaby SammieComment by cycleboy: This one sort of makes me go, "So?"
There's a lot of "things" in the shot, but no real point of interest. A way it could've been great was focused in tight on mainly one person - perhaps someone very passionate about the subject and in mid-yell about something. I'd like to see better focus - the guy right in the middle in the gray shirt is blurred a tad to my eyes. |
