What a beautiful girl! It is so hard losing a great friend and especially one who is sweet and loving and that you are truly bonded with. Those are relationships that stay with you forever. I was depressed for a year and 1/2 after I lost my horse and two months before losing my horse, I lost my 13 1/2 year old lab. Sometimes life just sucks. But time is an amazing healer and so are other animals who are waiting to be loved. Best wishes.

I miss my Golden Retriever very much, too. Maggie died in the summer of 2012, after the wildfires, at age 13.

Love your photo because it reminds me so much of my wonderful dog.
