4 Wetlands worryby suemackComment by MaryO: "My" wetlands (a few miles away) practically dried up this summer and early fall when we had a drought. Is was so sad to see cracked mud where there should have been streams :-( And the wildlife mostly vanished. Finally got a fair amount of precipitation in December and the water level has recovered quite a bit, and the birds are back :-) I think wetlands have so much beauty to offer. Hope "yours" gets the attention it needs. |
