I believe you that it's chocolate, but it sure doesn't look enticing. I would not want a photo of this on my wall, no offense. I would prefer to see this chocolate a little more smooth or gooey. Though it may taste good, I can't imagine it. The photo does not draw me in. I like the crop, composition and color, but the lighting could be brighter I think, more contrast too...

I love the way this chocolate looks rocky. It looks as though it will last a very long time, as it is a 'rugged chocolate'. I like the nice plain background and the subtle shadows as well.

Of course you didnt captured this explosion since there is no smoke and, given the speed of burn of powders, you would need a high speed flash shot of about
1/1.000.000 second to freeze this image. Anyway good inventive.

It seems to me like standing still... if I am correct, you have it all laying on a yelow surface, with sand spread like in a explosion. I mean this because no fire light is present, and I had made many experiments like this and always appears the "bloom" with moving particle lights.
