The outside is over-exposed. This is hard to get right sometimes when you have this large a difference on light to dark areas. At least the kid is correctly exposed. Thumbs up for that. :)

a little too staged, also, he's looking in a mirror. i do like how he doesn't seem happy about getting glasses, and the sun in the storefront window.

Very nice & different. I probably would have cropped it down to get rid of a lot of the brighter window in the back. It's pulling my eyes away from the subject. Looking at it with just a bit left above his head, I'm pulled right into his eyes.

The title is off-putting. It looks more like a kid in a gift shop.

The extreme light at the top makes this really hard (I had the same problem.) I like the idea that wheel is used a support in the picture rather than the subject. A slightly higher shutter speed might have helped on both faces, but that is a judgment call. Good luck. -7

tires aren't wheels (no points lost for that). the hot spot in the middle of the image has almost erased the second child's head. perhaps a fill-flash, and metering on the bright sun light in the middle of the shot would have been better.

Could have been a good one with proper focus and exposure. But on the up-side it has setup merits going for it.
