Abandoned Troll Bridgeby L1Comment by joebok: Interesting effect - it kind of looks like an illustration - I like it. I think you could crop out the bottom third or so, to bring more attention to the bridge. |

Abandoned Troll Bridgeby L1Comment by PhilipDyer: I'm a big fan of this soft effect, but it seems a bit overdone in this shot. I think the composition would also benefit by bringing the bridge down a bit into the frame. It's great that you were able to find a real-life subject for this challenge. |

Downtown Dinerby L1Comment by superwoman: wow i voted a 9 on this photo. i thought it was wonderful. i love the fact that it lacked the glamour of all the other neons. It allowed me to imagine the surroundings and the people that might have been around. i think its great. all the other sign pictures lacked depth, i think you captured something very interesting. |

Hope is Faith Holding out its Hand in the Darkby L1Comment by gaurawa: IMO you can improve the picture by giving more space on the top.. that is your hand should only occupyt the corner part and may be upto maximum of 40% in the height of the total photo.
You can try changing the canvas size with background as black and see the effect.

Hopeby L1Comment by suemack: Glorious colours, the rays of light give the pic a lovely feeling of movement. Great shot Laurie! |

Downtown Dinerby L1Comment by thatcloudthere: I think this picture should have done much better...people missed the point.
It shows the 'naked' side of neon, when it's less striking.
Anyway, good work! |
