This is a powerful image. The sepia tones and the soft/surrealness of the background are wonderful touches. Not sure if this was intended, but the telephone pole resembles a cross. This strengthens the composition and also adds (to me) a religious theme - also tied in with the innocense of youth and the walk down the road. I don't know if thats what you were going for, but that's what the image speaks to me. It invokes emotion. 10
