6. It's a good photo. Focus and capture are good. Overall, though, the subject matter doesn't call out to me. She seems rather bored, too.

WOW, laurie! damn. i'd go back and reshoot this in a heartbeat. just make sure all the flowers are in focus; you might also try different dofs, and maybe an angle that doesn't include the trees in the background.

Nice clean shot and good choice for black and white though his facial tones suffer from the proximity to that dazzling white shirt. They look kind of in the shadow. His expression doesn't convey the joys of performing which is the one thing I think would lift this shot into a truly superb one.

My first thought was "oh my god what's happened to that kid's hand?" before I realised it must be someone else's. I think this isn't perhaps the best time to take a picture of this cutey at her best - the sunburn pink doesn't do anything for her and her expression is no doubt one of concentration and staying still to be painted but I bet she looks more beautiful when she's smiling. The red material and uneven background doesn't add anything either. Not an instrically bad picture but one that likely holds more interest for those who know her than for strangers.

I just love the scene you captured here. The lines above and to the left with the over-exposed area are a little distracting, so I would have used one of the others for the Open Study or PS'd the heck out of the one flaw in this one! LOL
