Challenge: 6 I like the idea of the old tree and the seed for a new one.
Composition: 7 I like how the picture takes me to the seeds then to its counter part old tree trunk.
Technical: 7 nice sharp picture I can see the grains in the tree.
Appeal: 6 I getting moved by the picture slowly.
Overall: 6

I just like this photo, it appeals to me in a way that is hard to explain. The simplicity of nature, well captured. This image has you forgetting about composition, contrast, etc. (they are all good, But...) the long shadows, the blury old oak in the background gives \\\"meaning\\\" and mood. Wow, the more I look at it the more I like it. Exceeds the challenge. One of 3 \"10\"s from me.
