10 Feet from Dangerby L1Comment by SandyP: Eeeeeee. . .this is a hard vote because it is a beeeeautiful photo!!! And one that certainly tugs at my heart -- being the psycho animal lover that I am -- buuuttttttttt. . . .the 10 thing. I don't know. It seems to be a bit of a stretch. Ok, I'll vote with my heart and give it the benefit of the doubt :) It really is an awesome photo!!!! |

A Brief Respiteby L1Comment by lwiley212: At first I thought the bottle was taking a break LOL! The colors and composition are great, it's just too bad that the subject wasn't sitting at the closer bench. |

10 Feet from Dangerby L1Comment by sacredspirit: An awesome photograph, one of the best I have ever seen (big cats), but I don't think your going to get the meets the challenge points. Since the challenge description says "make of it what you will", you may still get the top 25%, which is a shame because I think going on the photo alone it should be in the top 5%. |

A Brief Respiteby L1Comment by atupdate: You found a very good subject for this challenge but there are a couple of issues that are hurting your score. First, I wish you would have removed the water bottle from the empty bench before taking this image. Second, you might want to try cropping this image so that the empty bench is the same distance from the edge as the occupied bench. This would really help balance this image and remove the red tile distraction on the left side of the photo. An added benefit to this crop would be the lightest part of the image would be on the far right, which would naturally draw your eyes from the empty bench to the occupied bench and evoke a comparison of the two. |
