Oh my, this is simply fabulous! I love the hands holding the sticks, then add to that the way the sticks perfectly frame his eyes, which look very serious indeed! The DOF is wonderful, your choice of tonality excellent. Such a fortuitous accident!!

Terrific DOF. This is a classic - boy with his sticks. Nice tonal range, with great lighting and bokeh. This has great symbolism. (I'm commenting before I read your description)
