That beacon light on the lighthouse. So calming and giving the scene such a sense of safety and security. This is beautiful. Just beautiful!

When I saw the thumb, I thought "why did he photogaph an attic?" I used to do air conditioning work, so I guess my mind is conditioned to think about that.
In the full size image, there is good use of the perspective effect of the repeating patterns, and just enough detail in the sand to give a sense of the depth of the image.

The sure don't make them like they used to, do they? You did a great job on the composition for a subject that "doesn̢۪t have much Southern charm." Like everyone else, I like the little flower in the foreground.
