Comment by JPR:
Gorgeous photo. Great toning and lighting, however the blown out whites may be a little too much. 8

If you could adjust the shadow on her face, this great shot would be really outstanding! ;o)

It's true that the Pretzels yank the eye, but part of it is that the Pretzel guy himself is basically unappealing. It's not his appearance, but his expression that has me nonplussed. Maybe if you had bought a pretzel first, he would have been smiling:). Also, that pole kinda bugs me. It detracts from the concept of the picture being 'of the pretzel guy'. The pole + the pretzels in foreground make the picture less about the guy, more about the cart, despite the focus being on the man himself.

Greetings,
Just thought I'd offer my comments, The vendor looks great, focus is awesome on him, what bugs me about this pic though is the out of focus ....pretzels?...in the foreground. My eye keeps getting drawn to them instead of the vendor, perhaps because they are taking up a lot of the forefront of the pic. The pole on the left really doent bother me, nor does the background neither one detracts from the subject, but those pretzels.....(oh yeah and the bottle of what I assume is mustard on the lower right, but that is minor and I'm sure could be cloned out in PS). As to how to improve this shot, perhaps you could try it from a differnet angle, or perhaps shoot it when he is in "action" either preparing or selling a pretzel.....just my humble opinion...

Interesting picture, nice lines very good positioning of the man and I like the tension between the man and the cross.
