Across the Lakeby TranquilComment by notonline: Until I saw this shot I actually thought that the red on the house was from rust. Great shot and no need to comment on any of mine but I might have cropped out more foreground (about an inch) and put more trees into the shot to make it more like a calender or postcard style. Again an incredible shot. well done. |

Nothing Like Wind in Your Hair...by TranquilComment by Tiberius: Nice use of black and white. I do like the soft focus that adds a certain mood to the picture. The model expression is great, very thoughtful or sad or just melancholic. IMO this great expression got you lower votes during the challenge. It is that strong that the wind is only smth minor. Maybe a tighter crop on the hair would have emphasized the Wind...
Edit to add that I somehow agree with purna's comment Message edited by author 2004-12-24 12:26:27. |

Sheep's Headby TranquilComment by scrum8: Excellent capture. Love the ho-hum expression. I might have cropped a little more off the top to get rid of the far background, or cloned some wool into the those spots. |

Self-Portraitby TranquilComment by Joey Lawrence: Hah this reminds me exactly of my "broken" challenge entry. It's funny because this is the first time of me seeing this... I did mine in the shower aswell...:D |

Libertyby TranquilComment by Joey Lawrence: I'd say this is a perfect shot, I like the angle and mood to it. I'm adding to to my favourites because taking a good picture of something is one thing, but creating a mood with a picture is what photography is all about in my mind. Good work. :) |

Closeupby TranquilComment by Joey Lawrence: This is very cool, the ducks head looks the best because the water makes him look sort of 'oily'. However I think you cropped near the end of his beak either too short or to much left. There is a little bit of a stick left over and it is distracting. |

Candid Girlby TranquilComment by jpochard: This is a great shot! I love those curls and that tongue sticking out! Kid shots are so much better unposed. Lighting and blurred background make this a nice shot technically. I wouldn't change a thing! |
