I suppose you chose the focus on purpose but I prefere photos where something is in sharp focus (deduct points). It draws my eye and helps me extract meaning from it. The photo feels unbalanced to me, with a bit too much dark space on the right (deduct points). The red color adds drama and makes for a more emotional feel (add points for emotional impact).
