You have an illusion, for sure, but I have a really hard time seeing what you were going for, other than a pretty picture with odd visual effects. In general, I like this photo, but don't fully understand it and as such can't fully appreciate it. How about a compromise score of 8? Swash

This is a great idea, and if I'm not mistaken, that looks remarkably like an Airedale Terrier. There are a few odd line distortions, and perhaps the colour saturation is a bit weak, but the shot carries drama and beauty, almost like seeing into the dogs dream. I love the pose; it's very much a look of exploration, like he/she is looking for something ΓΆ€“ this add to the overall effect. Great capture (8)
