Along the riverby SistoComment by streetpigeon: A modest gem. The box-like structure is part of the image but not in a forward, aggressive manner. It's almost subsumed by its delicate, fairy tale setting. The day itself is fresh and heartfelt. The colors are marvelous -- greens, blue, salmon and bright red.
Pity about that wire, though. |

Along the riverby SistoComment by Zita: That crimson froth of flowers in the foreground is such a foil to the blank stare of the boarded windows. The diagonal of the river running through the bottom of the frame adds interest as does the lowering (rising?) light. Quite a captivating study. |

Lisa-Luciaby SistoComment by aliqui: The focus seems to be a little too far back. I would expect the foreground hair to be the focus, but it seems that the most in-focus portion is at the top of her head. Also, the background has a touch of pink, and I would expect white. |

I know I gasped when I saw it because I took a vey similar shot to this also, loved this place so much, my husband and children have fond memories of riding our bikes around the lake with the wind blowing through our hair, good times! |
