parking supervisorby KathycComment by streetpigeon: I see this as viewer becomes crow (raven?). We slip into the mind of the bird and survey our world. The irony of the parked truck, while amusing to, and appreciated by, the human happening along into our quarter, is unnoticed as such by ourselves (we crows). So I find this to be a very powerful image before I swing back into the chattering human mind. OK. I'm enjoying the somewhat jumbled composition and the juxtaposition of roadwork and the beautiful sea islands popping up in the background. Of course juxtaposition, as such, is once again the product of discriminating mind, which crows will have nothing of. Too much babbling. I like this picture. |

parking supervisorby KathycComment by Paul: Remarkable geology meets serial killer's picnic spot. Darkly ominous.
How many bodies have been carried in that pickup?
I like the tilt too - complying with convention would not be appropriate for this image's mood.
Very effective image. |

parking supervisorby KathycComment by MeMex2: I love this. The composition is fabulous and the tilt is perfect. You have just the right amount of affectation and edge to pay tribute to Ubique. |

parking supervisorby KathycComment by ubique: Anything with a corvid in it is interesting to me. I love those birds. They're the smartest of all birds and very possibly the smartest of all animals, so I'm not surprised that they're now being employed as parking supervisors. Actually, they're kinda overqualified for the job.
Thanks for not 'straightening' the horizon, a nitpick that matters only to those who think the earth is flat. It isn't; it's quite bent, as you clearly demonstrate here.
Anyway, I enjoyed your picture for those reasons and more, and I thank you for it. |
