Love the lighting and colour. I would suggest that adding a bit of space above the leaf and then moving the chocolate toward the left of the leaf and moving the leaf down a bit might enhance the delicacy of the subject matter. I don't mean to rearrange your work, just my opinion :)

You meet the challenge. I like the idea too. However, the lighting is a bit off. I think the background would be nice if it were blue or tan. I think the kiss should be lit with a more yellowish light. The crop is interesting. I think I'd like to see it with more room on top and less on the bottom. Also the kiss seems a tiny bit blurry. I hope this was helpful to you...
