I don't see how this photo could be real. I have looked at it so many times, but I still can't make sense of it.

There are two fundamental problems I have with it:

The person's shadow on the right has a reflection in the water, yet the tree's shadow on the left does NOT.

Even more impossible is this: 100% of the shadow is firmly visible against reddish embankment, yet the shadow's reflection shows head and shoulders against blue sky!!!

I tried once before to get an explanation for this, but never got an answer :-( Guess I'll have to keep wondering about it.

it seems that the darkness of the photos indicates a two-second exposure could have been achieved in the right lighting. later or earlier in the day would have allowed for this. too bad you didn't think that was important or you wouldn't have submitted this 1/2 second shot taken with too much available light.

Had I known it didn't meet the challenge, I would have voted much lower. It's a shame that this won. So many other beautiful images that complied with the challenge.

I think that you ought to be ashamed for having entered into this challenge with a 1/2 second exposure. You are not new here, and must have known exactly what you were doing.

As far as this photograph goes, well, it's a nice one, but did not strike me as particularly interesting: I gave it a 6. The composition is boring. The watefall is beautiful, but where is the photographer's work?
