what the hells that thing inbetween the first on the left and the second water spout??? Very distracting. Other then that its a very nice shot and with that spot edited out and the right frame would lok good on a wall. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7>

explaining that spot might increase your score, remove this comment. I accept replies during voting for this reason only.

whilst this picture doesn't jump out and say "wow", the subject is certainly a very interesting animal! I like the humorous title! I wish the pink on its feathers could have been a bit bolder but perhaps the bird just has dull feathers.

I liked the peeling paint in contrast to the beauty of the model. I am a little uncomfortable with how dark she is as I found the bright window was taking my focus off the model. (you knew someone had to say something stupid like that huh!) :)

darn.. didnt vote on this one but wouldve surely scored you high for not shooting a flag or a bald eagle. love the lighting and how they make her contours flow. keep up the good work.

ps-have you ever read Ayn Rand's definition of photography? its quite interesting.

Comment by Rikki:
I like this shot a lot. Not for it's nudity but more so because it stands out above everyone else because it's different. A personal preference I guess. I hope the soft focus is intentional. The curves of her body against the geometric forms of the window sash and the trees in the horizon create a sense of struggle. Quite exquisite.

There is untold independence in the lovely human body. A pleasant, sensual and evocative image to add interest.

on the 100% crop, does it show a creepy old man staring out the window of the building next door? :)

the title/subject matter works well. i'm just not sure about the setting, an open window, though i do like the strong backlight.
