Nice reflection. The hints of color in the flags add a nice touch. Abstract - well just maybe.

Comment by melismatica:
This really stretches the idea of 'abstract'. There really isn't anything abstract about this skyline photo. There is no real strong design element happening in this image. It is a decently composed skyline and the lights around the houses at an interesting element but not in an abstract design sense. Technically, the focus could have been quite a bit sharper. There is a light of detail loss in the water. Low score is based mainly on failing to meet the challenge. Asthetically, it is a reasonably pleasing shot although not outstanding.

A bit overexposed. Does not really feel abstract to me.

Sorry. Nothing really close to 'abstract' here.

Well...lighted housed by the sea...not very abstract even though it looks pretty nice.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This is a great shot of the drummer in the band but I'm betting you got a lot of, "Doesn't really fit the challenge" because you can see so much detail in his face and such. Now, let me look and see if I was right. Yep, I was right. It has the potential to be a great silhouette with stronger lighting behind the drummer to darken him up a bit more.

I had given this a 5 during the challenge because it is a great capture of an action shot but like I said earlier, not quite a silhouette. The cropping is well done and the overall composition of the shot also works very well. Just need to have a stronger light behind him.

Good Luck In Future Challenges!

Nice capture, not much of a silhouette though... Some noise evident in his face that distracts a little.
