Breathtaking shot! A true example of nature doing it's work. I love the crop, emphasizing the ominous sky. The tiny road really gives the image some perspective, although I wish there was a little more information in the foreground to show its true scale.

This image has a definite artistic feeling. My first thought was that it reminds me of a Turner painting.

Well, it's been a few months since someone commended you, so I'll pile on. :)

I'm impressed that you thought of using the thumbnail as the hook to then fool people with the full-size one. I don't think any of the other illusions depended on that difference.

Finally, a good B&W study. Great texture but watch DOF. A little soft at bottom and just under the edge at the top. A little tighter aperture might have brought them in focus.
