I like the texture of the sand, the little grains of different colors are great. You shouldn't have put your subject in the middle of the frame, offset it a little to the side, and up or down..

Hehe, I like the photograph.. I can't tell how you're pushing the idea of texture here in the image.. If you're referring to the sandy beach, I guess I feel that it sits backseat to the fish as main subject. I can't score you too well for the image but I'll give you a 5 anyway.

Interesting choice of entry. Take away the fishhead and crop away the water and cliffs on the top and I think you would have a very good entry with regards to the theme... But it is a pretty cool picture... Kind of like it...

Actually the sand on the beach makes great texture, the fish head, I think hurts the photo more then helps it. Good luck.

+ You are brave to submit this photo; I think not many people will it very much :). There is more than enough texture present.
- Composition could be better. The rocks in the background should have been included more or if that wasn't possible you should have chosen a different POV. At the moment it is a bit of a mixed bag: what is important the dead fish or its surroundings?
