Deniedby sherComment by amber: I love the textures, but feel the blown out highlights in the bottom right let it down |

Estrangedby sherComment by Jutilda: Oh this is cool with the overlay of the words. Very nicely done. Has a nostalgic feel - nice tones. |

For The Birdsby sherComment by strangeghost: A lot of oblique macro shots such as this suffer from inadequate dof, where, for instance, only part of one seed is in focus. You've avoided that problem neatly and provided very wide, but thankfully not infinite, dof. I love the salty texture and the overall contrasty feel. Great image. Makes me crave salt! |

That scratch on the top right that looks like a closed eye adds a feel of silence...

Deniedby sherComment by RonBeam: This has a lot of power for being relatively static. I think the tones are active and energetic. If this had the tip of one or two fingers (just to add humanity to the mix) reaching up to try to unlock the lock, I would give it a 10. As it is .... 9. |

Deniedby sherComment by solarys: Very gritty (in a good way) photograph. The bottom right is a bit distracting, and I would have liked to seen the left link line fully.
The overall photograph works well with the title. |
