What a wonderful shot! I love the rings and could stare at them for quite some time trying to figure out just how they fit on your finger! ;)
Most of the comments you received during the challenge cover the problems with the shot, the hot spots and lighting seem to be the biggest set back on this shot. I love the texture of the surface you used for your backdrop, it works very well with the rings. But the light is a bit harsh and really sets off some hot spots. Maybe using a reflector or even covering the light with some paper to help deflect it or just a different angle. If you ever reshoot this I would love to see it.

Skate-O-Ramaby DefyTimeComment by photom: I like the movement in the skaters - gives it a good feel. Lighting is very interesting as is the slit composition. As far as deep DoF goes, you got a little close to the bannister at the bottom to make it really effective. |
