clean well composed photo. you see how the details at the bottom come out because the light source is focused on the top? i wonder if you had focused the light source on the bottom if the facial details would have come out stronger and created a more powerful photo. also, the center cropping works, but other less tight croppings might have come out well too.

I like the background effect, it has a nice (different) texture to it. Could be a little bit lighter.

I'd like to see kitty's face a bit clearer...i think if you lighted it lower, or used more of a backlight, you could have cleared her up a bit. It'd get rid of that shadow and the little flares too. or maybe you like those :) that's just my opinion. Pedro

quite a good shot, I like the way the cat's head pics up the hot-spot in your lighting.... shadow and relection on the surface at the base detract somewhat from the overall effect.... good luck, Todd.
