Kiwifruitby AnjellaComment by e301: The nature of the pulp of the fruit makes it difficult i think to see where this comes and goes in terms of focus, and that makes it difficult to see any detail of texture. There is a sense of mushy pulpiness to the image, but that alone is not enough to hold this viewer's eye for very long. |

Kiwifruitby AnjellaComment by GoodEnd: This is a dificult texture subject. The juice reflects light and you can´t reveal the textures. My first try out to this challenge was a apple and a watermellon. Both very bad. I had results like yours. A blured reflected surface. Your subject shows a bit of grains the compose some form of texture, then I will count it. |

Kiwifruitby AnjellaComment by Claya: I love the unusual choice of fruit but the DOF is way to limited to most effectively convey the texture. Think I'd have also included more of the hairy peel. |
