The Bulova Watch Coby RtwoComment by ChrisW123: Cool subject but the background is hosed. You shouldn't have tried to mess with it because it ruined the outline of the watch. And the blue is very extreme. |

The Bulova Watch Coby RtwoComment by brewinj: Something happening near the watch stem in the black; part of post processing?
Anyway I like the "blue steel" and clarity of the movements and jewels. Nice macro. |

Our Largest Fireby RtwoComment by pcody: Nice shot. Having the big sun with no light has a strong effect on me. I like the buildings. They add some movement to the picture. Trykinn offered a suggestion that, I believe, would have brought this up from the average score it received. The noise might have been a problem with the score also. A lot of dpc'ers like a buttery smooth look. Have you tried neat image? It can be used without destroying the details if done right. On a picture like this, without small details, it is the perfect solution.
Congrats on your first entry! Good luck on your future challenges. |

The Bulova Watch Coby RtwoComment by leaf: well i thought it was a scratch on my screen but it is a scratch on your image.. i guess this isn't the only time you will hear that. it looks like you could improve on your blackening your background... a 'feather' technique works well... i think it is over sharpened. |
