Really nice. The overlays can tend to become addictive once you get started. I've found that subtle overlays can enhance an image greatly, while being almost imperceptible as an added layer. Sometimes they simply lend extra depth and richness.

I missed this one, it's beautiful. I am gonna have to try overlays sometime, I have never used them really. My whole photographic life, basically, has been about clarity and sharpness, with the occasional mini-foray into "blur impressionism", until I decided to do the Lensbaby plunge for this new year. Feels good...

I think the overlay is wonderful, but then I really like overlays :-) But it is not the cool overlay that makes this image, it is the image itself which is fabulous! I guess I like the overlay because it masks things just enough for me to not be sure what I'm seeing...is that really a fence along the beach and two sailboats on the ocean? those birds are just great.
