The Pipeby Ecce_SignumComment by Teafran: A natural setting, natural and common action captured perfectly. Very effective use of foreground lighting to enhance the hand and provide detail. A great flame capture, this black and white treatment is a solid demonstration of how to control light and properly treat an image. Well done. |

Lest I forgetby Ecce_SignumComment by Melethia: Love the Holga setting in the Nik software. And pinholes do quite well with it, too. I especially like that you left the sensor dust on this one (or so it appears.) Has somewhat of a "Twilight Zone" kind of feel to it. |

The Pipeby Ecce_SignumComment by tanguera: Excellent subject, sharp and great tones. I find the crop around the mouth way too tight. It's really hard to tell it's a lip with smoke and draws my eye too much, trying to figure it out. |

Archieby Ecce_SignumComment by Melethia: Your zoneplate gets much nicer clarity than mine. Wonder why? I really like how there's the barest touch of color in this, and how it captures the nature of "cat in window" quite well. |

The Black Swingby Ecce_SignumComment by Bear_Music: Well, you beat the heck out of MY Lensbaby submission, friend :-) Of course, yours is by far the moodier, more communicative shot, whereas mine is way out in austerity-land...
We'll see what Rd 3 brings us :-) |

the girlby Ecce_SignumComment by Ecce_Signum: Originally posted by bvy: Fantastic. Did you do a lot of post-processing here? I'm wondering just how much of the effect is truly the optic. (It's just a technical curiousity for me. The result is what matters.) |
Apart from converting to B&W I just did a big crop, its actually the cover of CPN (the current Canon Professional Magazine
