Lovely tone in this shot and I like the positioning in the frame. Would have liked to see a greater DOF to capture a bit more clarity in the fronds but still a nice shot all the same.

Not sure if this was intentional or not, but there was a French film titled "La fine du jour" written and directed by Julien Duvivier who was a contemporary of Jean Renoir (two of the French "big five" cinema directors). This movie was about aging and past glories essentially and this image reflects that concept very well. The offset works, the DOF works, everything works and is almost an homage to one of Duvivier's finest films. Well done.
